1. Policy Statement

Clast Fit LTD is committed to managing the environmental impacts of its operations across all retail and office fit-out projects. We aim to maintain the highest standards of environmental responsibility and sustainability, and to achieve and maintain certification to ISO 14001:2015.

2. Our Commitment

We will:

• Fulfil all compliance obligations including UK environmental legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.

• Prevent pollution and reduce the environmental impact of our operations.

• Continually improve our Environmental Management System (EMS) to enhance environmental performance.

• Integrate environmental considerations into decision-making processes at all levels of the business.

3. Scope

This policy applies to all activities undertaken by Clast Fit LTD, including project planning, procurement, site operations, and office-based functions.

4. Objectives and Targets

We will set and regularly review measurable environmental objectives, including:

• Reducing waste and increasing recycling rates on all fit-out sites.

• Improving energy efficiency in our operations.

• Sourcing sustainable materials (e.g. FSC-certified timber, low-VOC finishes).

• Minimising carbon emissions through efficient logistics and reduced transport.

5. Environmental Management Practices

To support our objectives, we will:

• Implement and maintain an Environmental Management System aligned with ISO 14001:2015.

• Carry out environmental risk assessments for each project.

• Develop and maintain Site Waste Management Plans (SWMPs).

• Ensure all subcontractors and suppliers meet our environmental performance standards.

• Promote awareness and provide environmental training for staff and partners.

6. Resource Efficiency

• Monitor and manage resource use (water, electricity, fuel) across sites and offices.

• Promote energy-efficient site setups and adopt low-energy equipment where feasible.

• Encourage digital working methods to reduce paper use.

7. Compliance and Performance Monitoring

• Conduct regular audits to evaluate compliance with this policy and the ISO 14001 standard.

• Maintain records of environmental performance and improvement measures.

• Investigate environmental incidents and implement corrective actions.

8. Communication and Engagement

This policy is communicated to all employees and made available to interested parties. We engage clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to support and uphold our environmental goals.

9. Leadership and Accountability

Senior management is fully committed to the implementation of this policy and will provide leadership, resources, and support to achieve its goals. All employees are responsible for adhering to the environmental principles and procedures relevant to their roles.
